Swimming Lake Superior is now available for download through itunes. 01.15.10On Halloween we played an Operation Ivy covers set. Video of the show can now be seen in the Media section. Admittedly, we are a little late on this whole .mp3 revolution but Swimming Lake Superior can now be downloaded from emusic and Amazon. It will soon be available for download from itunes as well. 01.05.10Our split 7" with Velocity (an amazing band from Japan) has been released. It has received a great review in the January issue of MAXIMUMROCKNROLL and also made Ray Lujan's Top 10 List. It is available in Japan through Water Slide Recods and is available in the United States either through us or various distributors. They are a very limited press of 250 Japan/ 250 US on colored vinyl. 08.13.09Ok, so it's been a while since we updated this site. Here's what's been going on. Our version of "Glory" by Big Drill Car was included on "And You'll Spin: A Tribute to Big Drill Car" on the Itchy Korean Records along with many other great bands. You can listen and purchase the CD here. 11.30.06Thanks to everyone who had a chance to come out to the show at Martini Red. It was great to see so many people haven’t seen in a while. Hopefully we made some new fans as well. If you didn't get there early enough to see Dead Set On Destruction you really missed out. They have a new recoding coming out soon. If it's half as good as their live show it will be nothing short of amazing. We should be playing on the Island again sometime in late December. We will post more details when we know them. 09.14.06Well, were back from Japan! We had a great time. A huge thanks goes to Shinji Hosoki and Recodds Records for making the tour possible. We would also like to thank Hide and Ambience Records, Naoki and Moonstep, all the members of Velocity, Riyo, Mr. Sakuro, F.A.D, Moonstep, WALL, WARP, eM Seven, Kazu and Waterslide Records, Yuda and Electric Summer and all the amazing bands we played with, also all the people we got to hang out with and talk to after the shows. We will be posting more pictures from the tour shortly. Also, if you get a chance, check out our Myspace page. We will be adding live mp3's from some of the shows I don't know if anyone reads the Staten Island Advance but there was a nice article about our tour in the Tuesday, September 12th edition. We are working on songs for our next record and a possible split seven inch coming out in the not too distant future. 07.07.06Let's get right to it & For the first time ever The Amber Jets are heading to Japan! With the help of Recodds Records we will be playing a bunch of shows in mid-August. Just in case you were planning on visiting, the dates and venues can be found on our Shows page. If you are currently in Japan we hope to see you there. In other news, we have recorded a version of "Glory" by the incredible Big Drill Car. It will be released on Itchy Korean Records as part of a tribute album. It should be out sometime before the end of the year. We have also begun writing songs for our new CD, which should be out sometime in the near future. |
